Zach and Bobby are brothers that lost their father a few years back.   In speaking with their mother, Truth in Nature found that they could really use a Christian male role model in their life to do things such as hunting, shooting, and outdoor activities.  The Squirrel Hunt 2010 was their first time in the outdoors and shooting a gun.  They both enjoyed the time spent in God's creation and learning more about Him and His outdoors!

After the event we received some feedback from their mother who said "I know the boys really enjoyed it and talked about nothing but that the rest of the weekend.  Thanks again to you, your wife, and all the other volunteers for doing this.  I think it was a great experience for my boys.  They can't wait for the next event.  Just let me know when it is and I'll make sure I get Zach and Bobby involved."

Oscar attended the 2010 Squirrel Hunt and it was his first time shooting a gun.  He took to it like a pro and proved to be a "dead eye".  We enjoyed having him to fellowship in God's outdoors and learn more about them and His word.

Oscar was quoted as saying "Let me know when the next event is and I will be there, regardless of what I have going on that day!"

Tanner attended his first Truth in Nature event during the Turkey Hunt April 23rd and 24th 2010. Tanner is from a single parent household and seemed a little shy to begin with.  After he got involved with the activities for the event he really opened up and came into his own.  It was great to see Tanner grow just a little through this event while sharing information about the outdoors, turkey hunting, and most importantly God's word through our actions, prayers, and devotional.  We look forward to seeing him again in the near future.

Djuwon is pictured above at our Truth in Nature summer fishing and camping event at Lake Lanier for single parent children.  He has attended a couple of events with Truth in Nature and continues to come back to hear more about God's word and experience His outdoors.  It has been a wonderful experience to be able to pray, talk, and listen to Djuwon while getting into our spritual walk with Christ.  He has shown great compassion for his fellow friends and wanting to get them involved with the ministry while trying to help them through the struggles they are going through.

Djuwon caught his very first fish on this trip and caught the most striped bass out of any boat!  Way to go Djuwon!!
