Truth in Nature, Inc.
"Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it."
-Proverbs 22:6
Mission Statement:
Truth in Nature's mission is to enhance life's journey for single parent children, to learn God's plan for their life through experiencing and learning the outdoors. Truth in Nature will give them a Christian role model and provide resources to engage them in their walk with God all the while giving them an avenue to pursue their interests of hunting, fishing, and camping.
Vision for the Organization:
Truth in Nature is a Christian Organization that exists to help single parent children who do not have the opportunity to experience the outdoors and also learn God's salvation plan. Our vision is to provide a place and leadership for these kids to have an experience to enjoy God's creation and being outdoors. Through hunts, fishing, youth rallies, community awareness, and group retreats we expect to accomplish this. This organization will provide a place or event for these youth and be able to preserve the ethics and code of conduct for outdoorsman and woman for generations to come. In addition, Truth in Nature, Inc. will also be teaching and emphasizing the ways of being not only an outdoorsman or woman but a Christian outdoorsman or woman. The organization will provide resources for these youth that do not have the means in their life to get to experience the outdoors.
In addition we are looking to form partnerships with area churches. We do not want a child to come through some events and programs with Truth in Nature and then be left with no other avenue in which to maintain a walk with God. They are open to attend as many events as they would like with Truth in Nature, but we do want a follow through program in place so that they can continue their spiritual growth. Our goal is to have some partnerships established with local area churches. After a youth attends an event or program with Truth in Nature, we would like to refer them to a local church that is based in the community they are close to. This will allow them to get plugged into a local church and in to some youth activities with support, to see them grow spiritually with the leadership and guidance of the church. This will also allow their families to get more involved in the church and hopefully lead any siblings or parents to come and get more involved in the church and see God's work and salvation plan for their life.
