The statistics below DO NOT represent every single parent family, in fact, some single parent families do just fine.  However, as you can see from the statistics below single parent children need some attention and guidance.

Truth in Nature is in the position to help these single parent children with role models, guidance, outdoor activity, and most of all a grounded Christ relationship.

Approximately 84% of custodial parents are mothers, 16% of custodial parents are fathers

56% of custodial mothers are raising one child from the absent parent

44% have two or more children living with them

68.7% of American Youth are living in non-traditional families
