Truth in Nature was founded in 2009 by Jeff and Carrie Davis.  Truth in Nature exists to share the love of Christ with single parent youth to develop and strengthen their ability to make a positive impact in the community and beyond.  During our monthly outdoor programs we accomplish this.  Jeff and Carrie Davis are both avid in the outdoors and born again Christians.  Going on God's guidance they both pursue to reach as many single parent youth as they can in the local west Georgia community and beyond.  Both Jeff and Carrie have experienced first-hand the situations a lot of single parent youth are going through today.  Carrie lost her father at age 12 and Jeff experienced divorce with his parents.  God has put them together to make this impact on the youth in the community who need to have that other parent connection.

Truth in Nature has many different programs and activities that run throughout the year.  It all depends on the season as to what you may find us doing.  Check out some of the examples below.


Spring Season:  This season runs from March to May and finds us doing a number of things from Horseback Riding, Striped Bass Fishing, Camping, Archery, and other seasonal activities.

Summer Season:  This season runs from June to August.  During the summer months you can expect to attend our annual Hooked on Him fundraiser, go River Tubing, head to the Lake for a short retreat, for our older youth join us at our Youth Leadership Retreat, or maybe try your skills at Rock Climbing.

Fall Season:  This season runs from September to December.  These fall months the weather is getting cooler and our participating single parent youth can stay warm by the camp fire at our Fall Campout, climb up a deer stand with a volunteer guide at a Deer Hunt, or maybe hide behind that hay bale at a Single Parent Youth Dove Shoot.   

Winter Season:  This season is January and February.  In January we are planning for the upcoming year and do not hold any programs.  We will however take our reward trip for our prior year's winning team (More details on this after you attend a program).  In February we take the opportunity to get out of the house for a little Squirrel Hunting.
